The emperor overseas must be proud of his sons' accomplishments. Three more cities have fallen to our civilization, including Council Bluffs, fortress to the Viking oppression. The conquest of the southern menace goes on as usual, with two cities fallen. Soon the coast will be Chinese. Much gold has been liberated, and will be put to good use.Comment

Ach! The treacherous westerners have taken Council Bluffs and slain many a valourous warrior. We have repelled them from Dead Buffalo, but much bloodshed is ahead and the outcome lacks clarity.
A scouting party has discovered the Irish city of Sauk. Red Feathers was captured.

I would give my greetings, but this is no time for formality. Rather, all I have to report is the continuing Viking press. We have succeeded in taking out half the Viking force that we know of approaching Sauk, but from rumors and speculation we cannot hold out much longer with current reserves. Please send help, else the whole Irish plains will fall, just like our coastal brothers.Comment
