Two ships have gone on expedition along the southern coast.

Two ships took out the defenses of New Kells and New Carmarthen. A third one captured New Cardiff and claimed New Carmarthen and New Kells thanks to the excellent Irish roads.

In the North, New Carmagh and New Caernarfon were taken by bombardment and landing. New Tintagel was emptied of troops, but the Viking Hirdmenn have not occupied it yet.

In the Great Lakes region, an Irish ship was sunk prior to the capture of Great Falls and Fox Woods. Slaves were captured in Fox Woods and transported to our own city of New Aarhus.

An assault on Menominee Woods is being planned and the city will fall eventually.

If the Irish are cowards and desire peaceful dishonour, we will grant them such with the cessation of New Tintagel and the transfer of the two remaining Great Lakes Pikemen into thralldom.

War is a horrible thing. But the advancement of civilization demands the extermination of barbaric ideas and principles.

Thus we, the Chinese, by mandate of the emperor overseas, have come to this strange land to spread civilization.

Recently our taking of the Barbaric cities of Big Sioux, Witchita, and some southern Mexican city whose name I cannot recall, have all fallen to our superior civilization.

However, a threat, greater than these lurks to the east. A people so barbaric, that they are mere animals, people who war, not to bring civilization, but to destroy it. Our travelers have heard of the great war of the east, and have eye witnessed the massacres accomplished by these great barbarians. We did not care at first, since at first these actions occured against peoples seemingly as animal as themselves. But another, though lesser, civilization, the Irish, have been attacked by these monsters. Holy places burned, women raped, and many other things which are way, way, way, too graphic to write. These peoples? The Vikings. They shall be exterminated by our civilization, and we shall teach their children the way of peace. For this, we bring the sword.

That I guess is up to your discression. Depends on how we want to play. Quick duke-fest or diplomatic upheavals of states, quick changing borders and nations, but overall a long game?

The skraeling threat in the North has been eliminated.

New Tintagel was captured, New Carmarthen recaptured, and New Cork razed to the ground. Two Irish Crusaders who had taken to the hills were captured and hanged.

The western defenses are being bolstered and our infrastructure is being upgraded.

The short palefaces of the West shall pay for their arrogance.

While no contact was reported with the hated vikings this month, the Irish Armies are nevertheless marching toward certain victory alongside our new Chinese co-beligerants. Were the Vikings men and not animals, they would earn the pity of the Irish people.
