Town Counsil of New Canton
Mayor: And it is with great pleasure that I bestow the title of fuedal Lord to Wong Way, son of the noble Wight Way. However, this life you have accepted shall not be an easy one. You have dedicated your life to spreading the influence of our gracious emperor overseas. Go forth therefore, across the great mountains, and deliver this message to them. 'China shall not be mocked!' conquer them that laugh, and slaughter those who snub their nose. Take with you this army prepared. All are dedicated.

We lingered a while in Chico, and indeed, other natives were wroth against our new found allies. However, our marines delt with them easily enough. The navy of the southern seas shall move out tomorrow. There is news of high yeilding crops to our south. We shall check it out. Meanwhile, a messanger has gone back to notify the governor and request a road be made to our allies in Chico.Attached Files

Ship Log of the Tormentor
Sea Date 1.23.1005
We left behind the Morning Rider in Chico port. Captain Yang Tzo pushed us further despite our running low on provisions. He said he had gut feeling of another settlement further down the coastline.
Sure enough, a harbor village was spotted and we hailed them as we approached. However we were met with a hail of spears. Usually Tzo would wait for reinforcements, but being low on supplies, he sallied forth and attacked the provincials with all our might. We won the day and filled our stock. Our marines took garrison and reinforcemnts were levied from the locals that were considered trustworthy. We shall wait for the Morning Rider before we sail on.Attached Files

The brave pheonician explorers have now started scouting out the area around the great river.
We fell upon a small native settlement named Araguaia which imidietly swore aligience to us.
The glorious and prospering pheonician city of Utica Nova has been raided by native savages claiming to be part of an "Aztec Empire", the introders where repelled at the price of a multitude of civilian casualties.
