Well Case its up to you for the first turn And lets try to keep the game moving as fast as we can. No time limits as yet but this will change depending on the pace of the game. But i think that with only 5 of us and us being people who come here quite often it should go without a hitch.

France victorious on land and on sea!

The glorious French military has just finished a highly sucessful month.

                  Death of Nelson

The opening shots of this months fighting were fired by the French Navy. In a costly attack, the French Orient Fleet attacked British Admiral Nelson's squadron off Crete. After hours of furious fighting in which Nelson fought off several attacks, a lucky shot caused Admiral Nelson's ship to catch fire and explode. The single surviving ship of the French squadron sent out against Nelson is currently flying it's flag at half mast in honor of this great British sailor.

Meanwhile, ships of the Atlantic fleet have slipped out of Brest harbour and have ravaged the British Channel Fleet.

                  Victories on Land

The French army has also had a sucessful month. Forces under the personal command of General Bonaparte captured the city of Alexandria, while the Army of Italy has taken Rome by storm. Due to the current massive expansion of the army more victories are expected in the near future...

                  ------------------

Grothgar, I started the game using the multi-player events. Was this correct, or did you really want me to load the events for the neutral player?

Oops, yeah lets do this Multiplayer game on the multiplayer settings

PRUSSIAN VICTORIES ON LAND AND SEA!!!

Prussia also had a succesful month under the enlightened leadership of Fredrick Willhelm III, but first.

                    Great Admiral Nelson Dead

The prussian nobility today led a tribute in honour of the great Admiral Nelson. It is a pity that the trials of war should bring the death of such a noble sailor fighting for what his nation believes in.

Duchy of Saxony Incorporated into Prussian Empire

In a remarkably easy fight, in which the duchy soldiers seemed to just surrender, Prussia took back what it was owed. The reunification of the German Empire has started well said one senior figure in the army. The Saxony soldiers were not executed but welcomed as returning brothers and they were armed and have marched out of berlin, where they finnished taking vows of service, ready to fight for their new home.

Prince Of Baden Killed, The Vasa Sunk!!!

In two stunning military victories, in two seperate theatres and infact in two seperate areas of our armed forces, the Prince of Baden was killed as he led a force to relieve Leipzig. However he did not know that the Duchy had been incorporated peacefully and was shocked when the first shot by the new Saxon artillery blew him out of his saddle, he died later in a field hospital. We have lost too many great leaders this month.
Also while out on patrol the 2 frigates that made up our naval forces were attacked by the Scandinavian vessel The Vasa and its escorting frigate. In a brilliant manuver, which although costing our fleet one frigate, the two frigates encircled and totally destroyed the Vasa. Our enemies would have you beleive that it was sunk after it had surrendered but these things musnt be believed. It was heavily damaged and was offered the chance to surrender but it declined.

                    Nations of Europe Politely Warned

The Nations of europe were politely warned that the Prussian empire desires the reunification on the German speaking peoples of europe and will not be stopped. It is asked that the nations of europe recognize our claims to the cities of Hamburg and Frankfurt. This warning of course does not extend to Russia which will be explained in the next passage...

                    Russo-Prussian Alliance Formed!!!

This month in the border city of Kronstadt, which could have been a flashpoint to a war with russia at some time, the ambassadors of the Prussian and Russian nations emerged arm in arm with beaming smiles and announced to the shocked world that from now on these two nations would not be feuding nations which held back their growth but friends in the international community. The alliance is thought to include a clause where each nation will come to the aid of the other if attacked.
