A dramatic Coup in the Capital of Spain, Madrid has resulted in the corrupt Regime of General Marco being replaced by the benevolent rule of a certain Carlos Grothgarus. Carlos, as he insists on being called, was horrified that the so called "Neutral Alliance" had decided to attack France, despite the fact that she is, and always will be a sovereign country. This is specifically against the terms agreed and Carlos knew he had to act.
After recieving power he changed the country from the war footing it was on, taking money from the populus and shoving it into the army, ended conscription and has changed production in many cities to more scienticfic ends. Carlos was aghast to find that the previous regime had been printing money as if it was going out of fashion and pushing up inflation. This has now been corrected and Inflation is in line with the rest of europe, although wether that stands to be continued is debateable.
The transport which was loaded with German designed Panzer III's was diverted from its course just as it was about to attempt a landing in French Held North Africa. Instead it was diverted an performed a very stylish, but ultimately useless landing on the southern coast of portugal. Here the many military units very disabled and their crews sent home. It is spains wish that its population can see out this war in peace, expanding our horizons. To this end we have dramatically cut our military spending and our standing army. It is now unsuited to offensive actions. However let it be known that the spannish army is capable of defending its home turf.
Carlos is looking for a garuntee from all the major powers that Spains Neutrality will be respected. The remaining part of the spannish army is now performing manuvers in the Madrid region.
Other than that Spain is very calm, probably more calm than in its entire history.
Operation Arbiter launched: the Liberation of Europe!!
Troops disembarking in Abbeville
Today Balkan and Western European Forces launched major offensives. The 7th Armored Division attacked from Sarajevo and quickly seized Split and Rijeka. They are now poised to cut off Italy from Germany and Austria east of Switzerland.
Also preceding elements of the 8th Army landed at Taranto and destroyed an Italian battleship. Field Commanders expect to be in Rome before the year's end.
But the greatest feat by far is the lading in France. Royal Marines and Ex-Patriate Poles spearheaded the assault on Abbeville meeting moderate resistance. Also landing craft for an invasion of Britain were destroyed Royal Marines attacking Abbeville
After the town was secured, armored forces were disembarked and subsequently captured Caen and with it some more of the German invasion force. The RAF is currently over the skies of France, ready to defeat the Luftwaffe. Now more and more supplies are coming in at the ports for the next focus of attack... The Tide of Victory...

I wouldn't count Germany out just yet. She hasn't struck out towards England yet, neither has she hit me with much of a land force. I've been bombed, but they can be shipped to the Ostfront more quickly than can land troops. Germany's army is somewhere...
The glorious Red Army has taken up defensive positions this month as the thick mud made travel almost impossible. Germany is renound for is quickness in battle during the summer months as seen in France.
The winter is the time for the Soviet Union. The summer shall see time for rest and refitting.
This month also saw Iosef Stalin and Winston Churchill hold a meeting to discuss future war strategies. There, Stalin promised, and delivered on the allotment of several T-34/76 divisions to the Allied Powers, as well as some economic support. This was given as a reward for the timely excecution of their summer offensive. Churchill was thankfull for the weaponry, and the men toasted to a quick end to the war!
The much vaunted 'Second Front' has ended in a humiliating defeat for Britain. Upon news of the invasion, Army Group A's Panzer forces departed their safe barracks in Paris, Liege and Cherbourg and rumbled towards the British beachheads.
Upon reaching the coast, the Panzers, with the support of the Luftwafffes 1st Airfleet, swiftly crushed the pathetic British army. In fact, the commanders of the Panzer Divisions report that the most sevre resistance they ecountered was from the RAF Spitfire squadrons ground staff!
Below: Panzergrenadiers go into action near Abbeville
Army Group A reports that both the British beachheads at Caen and Abbeville have been eliminated, and the remnants of 10 British divisions are being transported to POW camps along the Rhine. German casualties were low, but the cities of Caen and Abbeville have been totally destroyed in the fighting.
Desert Rats Sent Packing
The war weary troops of the British 7th Armoured Division are also enroute to German POW Camps. The vaunted 'Desert Rats' were crushed in the Balkans by the glorious Italian Armed Forces operating with German air support. Following this victory German and Italian troops have liberated the cities of Split, Rijeka and Sarajevo.

In other news, Army Group Danube reports that German forces are once again in possesion of Oradea
Bagdad and Damascus Liberated from Colonial Rule
The recent British defeats have undermined the prestige of the British and French colonial authorities in the Middle East. The Arab Liberation Army has siezed the cities of Bagdad and Damascus, and German troops and fighters are now being flown in to support further operations in the Middle East.
