Yes, but since it takes more than 1 turn, you're still losing out. After the first turn it reverts back to normal so you should be reseting them every turn.

Come on, quit whining, in a normal game, how many squares do you terraform, 2,3? this won't add any effort. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I have no problem with pre worked settlers for forts... but this seems to take it a step further and add "some" time to the game. I could go either way, but I would say no with the exception of fortress building...
Yeah... I know it doesn't make sense, and both are the same... I just don't like the sound of waking up settlers every turn just so you have to order them again next turn.Keep on Civin'

You'll just clear them when you give them their work order. It won't add much time for the 8 times you do it in the course of one game. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

And how many settlers do you have doing that type of improvements? 2 or at most 4. It's the caravans that slow down the turns. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

It does slow things down on the first few turns when people find their first huts... while we try to use it between turns, the turns are so quick, they get back to you before you see what you want to see. After that, it doesn't slow the game down at all. And it's a ton faster than going through your old graph paper maps to match up the patternKeep on Civin'
