  • My only concern would be if people start doing this with 20-30 settlers a turn, it will add alot of time.

    • It is not so slow. Just click the Settler just after order.

      • ST.....all those extra moves compound as the game enteres the middle stages.....the game is slow enough as we all max out trade and vans.... this would by itself not add much time, but with everything else, think of it as the straw that might break the camels back

        • Yes with Deity moving 105 camels and Horse moving 105 crusaders we don't need them stuffing with settlers as well

          • Ok, myself, atawa, slow don't seem to have any problem with it. War, CW, Hydey seem to not like it.

Can we get some definative opinions here? and hear from others. like ming barono berz etc.

RAH votes YES. I don't see it slowing the game. And if we say no, what are we saying about preworked settlers, which is somewhat the same strain?

            • May as well allow it; I don't think it will add much time to turns.

              • the preworked set is very specific.... i am not saying NO....i am just saying that it could very easily slow the game down

but if you put it in the preworked set category, then we have to allow it or ban the preworked set..unless u are going to use two and make an instant fort anyways

                • I wouldn't say they're the same, but the concept is similar.

                    • I would be happy for it to be used but if it then slowed the game we could ban it at a latter date.

                        • I don't think you'll notice a difference because people that move fast will still move fast and the slower ones will still move slower. This will be such a small part of a persons turn, you won't know. I don't see it adding more than a couple of clicks every few turns for me. I do intend to use a pair of settlers for roading through tough terrain though.
