  • Ok so to recap. So far, according to you I have 'bribed the tits of' the ai as well as the ai being 'bribed to buggery' by me. Seems to me there is a theme here. I just can't seem to work out who the prostitute is.
Hold my girlfriend while I kiss your skis.

          • bribing is for wimps but keep bribing Horsies units..... it royally pisses him off....of course he could easily just STACK them

            • But it is fun when someone is marching the horde of knights down a river and forgets to stack one or two and you bribe it and use it to destroy two other stacks. I can remember one game where I bribed two solo units and used them to destroy 3 large stacks. Unfortunately my victory was short lived as the other player got so pissed, he quit. Some people just can't handle it.

              • Unit bribing adds tactical finesse to the game...........I don't see how the game is better without it. The costs aren't ludicrously low like with city bribing.

                • Yeah, it's sometimes funny when the unit is near the persons capital and they want almost a thousand gold. And it can be used to help determine where an opponents capital is.

                    • If you want to bribe a settler it can be... but those wandering horses far away from the capital can be pretty cheap. And the cost to bribe an archer that might take one of your cities... priceless

Still cheaper than a pair of Cub Tickets

I guess I'll be hearing about that for quite a while.

But in all honesty, that game was worth every penny.

                              A few inaccuracies there deity

Upset about what? I resigned from the game once it was clear ai bribing was to be retrospectively outlawed when the ai had already been bribed to buggery by makeo. That's not upsetting, that's funny

You should have listened to old horsie
Now, let's see if Horsie can vote?

It's important to realise that Makeo's civ was in it's second session as an AI civ when this King Chat occurred (my insets in CAPS)

From King Horsie (A.D. 260): I neglected to mention you can bribe ai civs - because they will do it to you

ONE VOTE IN FAVOUR OF BRIBING AI

To Consul Merlin, Mr. Trevriffic, King Horsie, Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 260): makes it up as he goes along..
From Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 260): here we go
From King Horsie (A.D. 260): no we've always played it like that deity, it was for the benefit of the newbies
From Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 260): finbar save us
To Consul Merlin, Mr. Trevriffic, King Horsie, Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 280): not cities
From King Horsie (A.D. 280): cities too

To Consul Merlin, Mr. Trevriffic, King Horsie, Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 280): you are a joke on 4 legs
From King Horsie (A.D. 280): I should add that I am not at war with any ai but I noticed someone else was
From Consul Merlin (A.D. 280): I would have thought that ai is no different to person on city bribes
From King Horsie (A.D. 280): no because the ai will bribe your cities
To Consul Merlin, Mr. Trevriffic, King Horsie, Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 280): you can only bribe back what you lose is the norm
From Consul Merlin (A.D. 280): bribe back is okay
From King Horsie (A.D. 280): no its open slaver on bribing the ai
From Consul Merlin (A.D. 280): no thats not cool

                              ONE VOTE AGAINST BRIBING AI

From Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 280): I won't be doing it

                              ONE VOTE AGAINST BRIBING AI

FROM DEITY To Consul Merlin, Mr. Trevriffic, King Horsie, Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 280): nor I

                              ONE VOTE AGAINST BRIBING AI

From Mr. Trevriffic (A.D. 280): I would recommend bribe back only as some week those civs may be run by humans

                              ONE VOTE AGAINST BRIBING AI

From King Horsie (A.D. 280): fine with me - I get nothing out of this

                              !!!!!!!

To Consul Merlin, Mr. Trevriffic, King Horsie, Consul Hydey Khan (A.D. 280): and that what its about...

                              ---

                              Now that's 4:1 LOL!

And Makeo wasn't even in the session!
It's his civ that could have been bribed at that stage but the honourable Hydey resisted the temptation

Makeo subsequently posted that he was in favour of AI bribing. But when he returned to the game the following week I don't believe he used bribing.

But let's call it 4:2 against bribing AI civs.
