  • How Big's YOUR Civ2 folder?

    Well, how much space does it take up?
    Over 500 mb here, and over 300mb of that is scenarios.

      Which one are we talking about? Civ2FW, MP, MGE, or ToT?

        200 Mb but I've erased many scenarios just recently.

          85,9 Mb, but that's just standard Civ II UCC without any extra scenarios, mods or other junk.

                Between Civ2, MGE, and TOT about 250M, but I went through my archives last year and deleted most of my old game saves and zipped the few I kept.

                Ras, is that Hoplite trying to flap his arms and fly?

                    241 mb. I have CiC, FW (without any scenarios), 2.42, and MGE.

                        Yikes. My FW, gif library and ToT put together are still under that.

                        So I guess we know to whom to turn the next time somebody has a hard disk crash.

                          Hehe, I have a lot of double copies of files in different formats though as PC versions need to be converted before I can run them.
                          Gifs->Picts
                          Wavs->Aiffs

                          Often I keep the PC files though as picts cannot be edited in image editors without messing up the pallete (it works fine with gifs however).

                            121 MB for my Civ2-FW folder, 328 MB for ToT...

                            But that doesn't really do justice to the amount of Civ2 on my computer, since I also have a full Civ2 website (and another in preparation) with lots of downloads on my harddisk, a separate folder with map resources, several Civ2 utilities in development, and a separate folder with all sorts of miscellaneous Civ2 stuff, like hex editing docs and lots and lots of maps.

                            All in, that's about 769 MB ( Still not even close to your figure, Henrik).
