Definately harassing the annoying civ on the board to declare war on me (thus keeping my rep clean) and then running them off the board... especially when they are more powerful than I am... BWA HAHAHA!... That and renaming my enemies cities with spies... you know like, "I'm toast," or "Ground Zero."

I liked to see the evolution of the invasion of my units across the world.

I liked when IA offer me big bags of gold in order to be spared (for a time).

I liked when IA started long time before me to build a Wonder and finally I managed to beat it.

I liked terraform entire continent (with legions of enginners working a an colossal railroad network).

I liked to contruct a railroad/harbor connection that allow an unit to go in all city in just an turn.

I like to sneak into other civ territory whithout being noticed and spy them.

I liked to see and hear a city be blasted by a nuke (hummm).

I liked so much naval fights (IA was quite good at this I remember).

Because the AI is soo stupid, I like to make my invasions more complecated than they really need to be. I like coordinating several invasion points, supporting with Ships and Planes, and sending cruise missles deep into the enemy's interior. I know this is really not needed, and I could do just as well with a force about ¼ the size.

But the favorite moment, is the anticipation right befoe the invasion when I have set everything up just right and the decision to invade is made. This is the culmination of many plans and maneuvering, and to watch the Armada in its moment of glory is what keeps me really into this game.

This is the kinda thing that makes playing as the US in WWII scenarios quite fun; having to plan an entire invasion of Europe, and bringing enough arms to guarentee a low casualty rate on my part.
