    Getting boggged down

    1796 the linage of the Mad Monks returned to Aztecia... Rasputin III looked around his realm and was astounded to find endless Railroqads running not to all his citys but simply in circles within the certain citys... He shot the previous engineering chief appointed a new one and said build railroads between all my citys... Grabs the Defence minister and orders mass rearming and upgrade projects.
    1798 Fiddled with the harem
    1800 Had massive new Century party in palace
    1802 The Damn Babylonian , English and Chinese combined in a sneak attack. No loss of aztec life.
    1804 upgrade of most armed forces nearing completion. Conquer Babylon City - Damn senate has forced peace on us
    1806 More fiddling with harem
    1808 In sheer boredom orders spys to bribe babylonian city, senate not happy, government in crisis.!@!!!! Shoots all Senate.
    1810 English and sioux sign pact to contain our aggression
    1812 New Adminsitration begun, new senate. Again we get bored quickly and bribe another Babylonina city. Senate in uproar again, we are forced to massacre them too

      1816 AD- Antlericus III arises to power in the midst of anarchy.

      1818 AD- Half of our cities are in disorder. A freight is completed in Tenochtitlan; meanwhile, construction on the United Nations begins in Tenochtitlan. About six freighters arrive immediately.

      1820 AD- More disorder, but Antlericus manages to restore the Aztec Democracy. Immediately, he does two things. First, he orders that all statues of leaders from the Rasputin family be destroyed and that the memory of the Rasputin family ever existing be eliminated. Second, taking a page out of Desotlac's book, he forces all lovely maidens throughout the empire to be rounded up and moved to the palace in Tenochtitlan, where they will each get new "jobs" in the government.

      1822 AD- Order returns to the Empire. Some cities are even celebrating their new leader. Our best and brightest discover how to build more complex machinery. Intrigued by where it could lead, Antlericus III orders research on how to improve methods of flight. Tenochtitlan's population rises, as a result of the arrival of all the lovely maidens. Antlericus III issues another edict, ordering all other (non-lovely-maidens) women within the city limits of Tenochtitlan to leave the city immediately or be killed.

      1824 AD- Our empire's population now exceeds 14 million. An attempted English offensive on Coventry fails, thanks to the terrain around the city.

      1826 AD- Nothing happens, really. Some Chinese settlers get killed.

      1828 AD- The Germans and Chinese sign the Hangchow Pact to contain Aztec aggression. Elsewhere on the diplomatic front, we sign a peace treaty with Babylonia, and China agrees to a cease-fire. We discover more advanced methods of flight. Our researchers are now after how to build rockets. Another English offensive on Coventry is thwarted. Antlericus III is reelected, with 66 percent of the vote. The remainder of the vote is divided between twelve other candidates. Antlericus III receives 100 percent of the vote in Tenochtitlan, incidentally.

      1830 AD- The Chinese and Sioux sign the "Bear Paw Pact" to contain our aggression. The United Nations is completed in Tenochtitlan. A peace treaty is signed with China. We send a freighter carrying wine to Xinjian in response, getting some money.

      1832 AD- Some freighters reach their destinations, some engineers complete their present tasks.

      1834 AD- We discover the art of building rockets. We're now researching how to make some things smaller, such as transistors.

      1836 AD- Antlericus III's second term ends. The lovely maidens in Tenochtitlan are all disappointed.

      Marquis, it's your turn. The maidens are still in Tenochtitlan. Have fun with 'em.

              1838 - Em Dee Es is elected president of Azteca. Dozens of cities celebrate by rush building improvements. The eggheads discover miniaturization.

              1842 - The geniuses at R&D discover mobile warfare! Some freights are delivered.

              1846 - Senate supports "peacekeeping" against the Russians after we land to spy around a bit.

              1848 - Chinese wise men develop chivalry. How quaint! We, meanwhile, invent computers.

              1850 - We discover guerilla warfare. A gold freight to Kiev earns us 376 gold!

              1852 - The fellows at R&D discover robotics! In the news, our transport is hit by a russian ironclad. Luckily we live, but the freight to Wounded Knee disembarks on unfriendly soil to avoid sinking.

              1853 - The SETI program is completed in Texcoco! Aren't we smart. No intelligent life yet found outside our borders. More freights are delivered.

              It's sad, but most of the map is still unexplored! With this giant tech advantage, we should start crushing neighbors! Em Dee Es retires and is quickly forgotten.
