How do I change the permanent properties of terrain squares? For instance, how can I change the science output of an unimproved square of grassland from 0 to 6? Thanks in advance.

Look in rules.txt as noted, but you can't change the science value of a square, only the food/production/trade values.I'm consitently stupid- Japher
I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

No limits that I'm aware of. Some scenarios will set the values of a particular terrain to ridiculously high numbers and only use them for a few specific locations - e.g. a one-square island city used to represent a foreign country. The first President of the first Apolyton Democracy Game (CivII, that is)
