That's why Physics was listed first. After that, with luck, we will be offered a choice of Magnetism (4 votes) or Steam Engine (6 votes). I know there are benefits to Magnetism that will enable a happier transition to Democracy. But the ppl have spoken.

Maybe we could steal a missing tech. But wait, oops, that's not my department. All I can do is arrange the order of preference for deploying our Wise Men.
