    I agree that the President should have a true majority of the votes. If a mere plurality is reached, then there should be a run-off election. But I think 2 days would suffice.

                  I agree. I can't imagine that any candidate would achieve a majority at this point.

                    If we must, but i'm inclined to think it's a waste of time.

                    Why bother? It's going to take a few days, and most likely get the same result.

                    As far as I'm concerned (well, unless I get another vote in the next couple of hours ), cavebear's the elected president.

                    If we do this majority garbage, then there's going to need to be a repoll every single time we've got more than two candidates.

                      Oh no you don't... You decided to seek the office and you can't just decide to fade away. The citizens expressed a great support for you, and you have no right to let them down at this point. You have people that support you, and if you withdraw now, how can they trust you again?
