Truly excellent! So much more land, and in larger chunks, too, than the last game! Time to get into the discussions on building masses of Settlers for all that lovely land (or is Civ3 just starting to get to me with its constant REXing?)

        "REXing" ???

Don't bring that civ3 garbage in here MrWIA. It's a negative influence on our culture.

Sorry - I have been submerged in it for a while. I would say ICS but I don't REALLY mean ICS in the way we build zillions of cities that overlap chronically. I mean a rapid exp-...... a quick settlement of as much decent land as we can get a hold of.

          Better?

It is SOOO good that a settler costs one pop, and each settler gives you TWO worked squares.

It feels good to be home.

If we are aiming for rep/demo then I wouldnt suggest ICS.

And besides, playing on a large map we dont have to cover every tile with our city's.

Better to bild up our core now and start trading then building a ton of city's that will only couse us unhappyness.
