    Nice play

seems like we will be meeting a very friendly AI .

I have 1 question:how much do we have in our treasury at this time?
--> It might be worthwhile to rush the settler in Valladolid(or whatever--> the one on the new continent we are still exploring) so we can put down a second(and maybe even a third city there before we meet anyone on that continent.

-->A city NW of the ellephant(above sarragossa) would be nice
*It would have river, wheat and fish
*or the square above so it has 2 fish but no Wheat...
(we could call it Bermuda )

HOLY ****, JA BACK! Oh, and I hope we get the grandes soon. And if we don't, I don't think it would be the end of the world.

from your Foreign Minister, Hydey. Well done!

With all these Settlers, it's important that we do some planning on city locations, NOW.

WHERE IS THE MINISTER OF IMPERIAL EXPANSION?

(BTW, great job of inducing the Japanese to commit hari-kiri before officially meeting them. We have now set a record, with the Foreign Office sleeping for the first 4,000 years of gametime!!!)

I'm a little worried about our low tech...
Do you think we will ever be able to get a tech lead?

i think that the tech lead will grow smaller, and we will reach pariety with the AI soon after meeting them. after that we just need to choose carefully what techs we research, the AI chooses dumb ones, and that will give us the lead we will need to reach AC

Our techrate will advance, we have good trading city's on 3 different islands soon

We are close to trade, if we change production from settlers once we get it we can start trading early enough.

Once we get our city's build up and start massproducing caravans we can get to any major tech first

And off course we have an AI close by, with LH we can just ship chain and bombard them with caravans

Yes when we start trading around the globe we will have techs coming out of our arse.

Indeed and with your production island we may be able to produce caravans in no time. The big cites of the Chinese are looking very promising for trade but on the other hand I think the cities would be more useful on our hand. *muhaha*
