Actually, I voted (or posted) against the Historian Exception to term limits, but see no real reason to oppose it beyond a general dislike for "exceptions to the rule." Made me a bit uncomfy. Probably my Catholic upbringing...

Cavebear is obviously qualified, though when I see his claim of being "utterly Objective" I can only On the other hand, to the victor belong the spoils.

A contested race for Historian would be another first for the might Apolyton nation! I will continue in my quest to find enough free time to make this a relatively simple task.

MrWIA, I can't think of a better candidate for President at this point in our history than our current War Minister and former VP.

Wishing the best of luck to all candidates!

As Historian, I promise all the Citizens that I will go out of my way to point out the errors and oversights of the Cavebear Presidency. I may even expose some inside secrets of the goings-on of the Cabinet and Palace retinue!

What does Cleopatra do when not atending to the President? Is Lincoln making any progress on that split rail fence we have him hard at work on? And how is Ceasar coming along with that mosaic? Only the insiders know for sure!

The Vice President is still determined by the runner-up for President, when contested. Don't we have 2 candidates? So if you want to be Vice President, you have to run for President. Did we change that?

When you go to post a reply, there is the "attach file" line above "submit reply". Click on "browse and find the file you want to attach. Double-click the file, or single click and select "open". A directory address will then show up in the "Attach file" box. Hit "submit reply, and it should work. BTW, .jpg files seem to work best for me.

If you can't find your file in your directory, make sure you all "all files" selected, the default is HTML files.

                      Keep trying...

I just figured out that i made a mistake with the dates: 27th is thursday, not friday; 30th is sunday, not monday. Should I have them still be between those days or move it up a day so it goes over the weekend and ends on the 1st?
