    see, my computer is still #$%$#%$ and elections are over....but it will be up and running properly i am sure by the next ones....

    i will then run for war minister or something like that...

    but i make a better dictator than president

        But last 3 days I had to write a Molecular Dynamics program+presentation ...and 72h is really short...but from now on I'm totaly available.

          How was I supposed to know for sure? You know how it goes, people hem and haw about maybe running for office, and then back away. with a post like yours, I wanted to be sure, and asked. Take chicken4 War4ever for example in the last several nomination threads.

            I totaly understand, especially since I've been only sporadicaly present last month.
            ...the only thing left to do for me now is installing Civ2 on this PC en hope to get ellected (or else I'll be VP of John... in that case I'll make sure there are enough intrigues for everyone )

              gr......that is so unfair....

              i told everyone ahead of time i was camping and unable to make this round of elections....

              besides, i offer good advice and i am not sure any of it is heeded

                      I *was* hoping you would run for office this time, but you'll be ready for that when you're ready. It is a bit of a change from the ordinary responsibilities of playing a game just for yourself, but most everyone survives this new challenge.

                      Maybe next term... Meanwhile, keep offering your advice and suggestions and get a feel for the requirements of public office during the next month.
