with the talk of being nominated vs self nominations, and as a player that has held a positon after another nominated him, I would like to announce that i do not have the time this month for a ministerial position

    Thank you

I nominate John for city planner.

It's a lot more then building warriors and I trust he'll do a good job at it.

(Even though he forgot to put the position into the nomination thread )

                when are the elections?

when do the nominations end and the elections held?

Incoming ministers should make sure they are ready to go straight away, we need to get this thing moving.

OK, but you better show what you can do in the early game, or people aren't going to be too confident in you when things get complicated! Deciding how to place limited numbers of military units for maximum defense and attack isn't exactly formulaic.

Maybe you'll join us next month's elections... We should be well into medieval times then.

But I see Hydey is running for MiniWar and (if I am elected President), I will be very pleased to have his excellent advice!

C'mon folks, can we *please* have more than one candidate per position? Be brave, take on the challenge! It's not *that* hard and it is good to have fresh thinking in this game...

                      Thanks for this thread, john.

cavebear is right - it is an easy (and fun!) job, especially at this point of the game. You get to know the other DGers and Apolytoners quite well also. And if you're interested at all in improving your own game skills, there's no faster way then doing it yourself after listening to the experts!
                      Consul.

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!

I would consider running, but it would be a bit of a conflict of interest if I did.
