      Is this a dream???

Please pinch me. This just is too good to be true.

Everything i alway wanted! I finally can upload my CTP2mod once it is ready. So that i can link it to the database

      Apolyton! I love you

questions that the FAQ doesnt explain!
Is there a time limit for how long a upload can be kept?
Is there a way to have my files deleted by the apolyton administration?

How off-topic can I be, potentially? Is it checked? Is there anything to prevent me from downloading some sought-after game patch, uploading it onto my portion of the server and then linking to it from, say, Blue's News? Bandwith Bomb!

Great feature. I've already used it to upload files and make a screenshot thread in the Galactic Civilizations forum.

                Check it out: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=77643

Does this mean that we can only use the files to link inside Apolyton?(problaby best for Apolyton)
And can we link to them in other forums only if we post the file somewhere in Apolyton?

                        No such directory PHP Error...

Actually I got the same error when first going to the upload section. (I suppose it is simply because there isn't a directory for every user, and they are created "on-demand".) When I uploaded a file, the directory was created, and the error messages went away.

So, you might just want to quiet down the opendir() function with an @ prefix, so that it doesn't complain when it can't find a dir to open.

not trying to upload unrelated stuff when there are tons of ways to do that in dedicated for that purpose sites would be nice
beyond that, we've got several kinds of ways to see if something being downloaded a lot. in the case that it's something that has no place on our server you can be sure that we'll be acting in every possible way

if you read the bolded post above, you should not be able to link directly to a file from another site

i guess if you try to view your files without having any files at all, it gives out a warning....

well the idea is that you post a file for some apolyton-related use(game file, screenshot, etc)

And can we link to them in other forums only if we post the file somewhere in Apolyton?
                              yes.
e.g. if you make a scenario and upload it on apolyton, you should make a thread about it or submit it in the Directory. then you could link from other sites to the thread or the directory entry....

I can understabd the max size of 20. After all it is impossible to have a infinite number of bytes to uploads.

But is there a reason not to increase the max size of the file to be downloaded? Something bigger then 5 MB?
