AFAIK, the quote stays until a new post is posted. As soon as that post is posted you get the "This page has expired" message. I could be wrong though.Comment

The stop button (on the browser) works, but you have to hit it after the code tells the browser to goto the next page (it dosent do it right away, I guess to give you time to read the damn quote), but before the transfer actually goes through.
If I see something I want to read, I hit the stop button repeatedly until I hear the little click that tells me the browser started to make the jump -- and stopped.No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.Comment
