  • Please Read: Anti-Parasite Feature

After the recent Xupiter incident, we tried to find some way to help beyond not having any ad related to such software

So, if all have gone well, our front page will inform you if you're infected with something. If you dont get any special message then i'm either an idiot and have done something wrong or you're not infected.

Note: this is only for IE users

I get nothing at all so i presume I'm OK (another ad aware user).

Is it possible to set up notification of a negative result - simply for peace of mind?

Nice feature BTW - how does it work? Doers it scan the user's HD or is it something in the IE profile?

Wow, now I have a reason to link to the mainpage. I've been going strait for the Forums for the past year.

                          Thanks Markos!

Now lets use Taz's suggestion, just for peace of mind, or the illusion that everything is alright.

I've found SpyBot: Search and Destroy to be better.

[Edit: I have no messages either, but then again, I use Opera ]

hmph. i've been using opera now for a while, but i still had numerous parasites on my IE.....probably one of the reasons i was so desperate to find an alternative in the first place

great job mark. adaware didn't pick any of these up (), and after numerous dos prompts and restartings, i've managed to remove all of them.

note: even though IE's working properly now, it's still crap
