maybe the flags could stay where they were, and just the civgroups move? that's a good place though

I love the idea, and honestly don't really care where they go... the flag and the groups toegether I'm certainly happy with. Though looking at the Canadian flag, I suppose it hasn't been converted to 19 pixels yet?
I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...

Nice feature
.
It's not a big deal, but there's so much stuff listed on the left of the posts now that some of them are getting very much taller than they need be. Consider Locutus's post below - it's made twice as tall as needed just for the post content, which generally makes pages taller, and makes it harder to quickly scan through threads (Especially those like PBEM threads, with many one-line posts). It would be nice if more of these things could be optionally hidden, like the various instant messaging things for those who don't have the program in question. (It would be nice if everything else was optional too, right down to the poster name, but that's unlikely to happen).

Using the light style, its not too bad, because those ugly IM buttons aren't there. They're really the only thing that stops me using the default style. Them and the light bulb perhaps.Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

Thanks for the suggestion - I'd never tried the light style before, but it's much nicer, now I don't have to remember what all those strange symbols across the top of the post meanOriginally posted by Immortal Wombat

But I still maintain my stance of "the more optional items the better".
