    Okay, enlighten me...
Got to my mickey, found me way up the apples, put on me whistle and the bloody dog went. It was me trouble telling me to fetch the teapots

    This is borderline?

    MVT tulee joskus. *köh*

    This is perfectly legal?

Het is dat ik zo goed ben opgevoed en dat het hier inmiddels al vrijdagmorgen is en de economie morgen toch ook draaiende gehouden moet worden... kortom, morgen meer.

And this is a bannable offense?

Right. Makes sense to me now. Took some time but i finally saw the logic. Maybe it was the "gun" argument...

when I became a member, those rules didn't exist. I made various threads in dutch in the past.

and the "rules are rules" and "life isn't fair" arguments are only used cause you don't have a better argument for the decision. Still makes no sense that Finnish is allowed but other languages aren't.

I can live with that. It's a pretty clear definition
          I can enforce it too.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

follow the rules YOU agreed to when you became a member...

I must have overlooked this one rule way back in May '99. Stupid me, always forget to read the small print...

It only makes no sense because you don't have a clue what a grandfather clause is...

And also, one of the rules you did agree to when you became a member is to do what you are told when asked by a moderator... so don't hurt yourself too bad as you fall off your high horse...

                well said Hueij

And what dangerous grounds are those.
ethics. morals. things like that. you know how it goes. a diffferentation between first and second class languages violates can't be considered ethical on whatever ground, unless you happen to be fond of Hitler's idealogy.

I started dutch threads on at least 2 occasions in the past.

there were no OT moderators when I got here.

Hey! Some of it was in Finnish. And some of it was English (I guess)... Only one out of three ain't so bad

Hmm, we've had plenty of Dutch threads in the past, they've to my knowledge never been abused to spam (well, no more than in English ) or get around the censor or anything... Although I can understand the reasoning, I find it slightly odd that it wasn't a problem before but it *is* now. Anyway, I'd be more than happy to moderate any Dutch threads that I come across or are pointed to

I think the ruling should be put in the FAQ. Until then its not in the rulebook.

It may already be in the FAQ but I did't find it.
