Civ 1 of course,I loved Imperialism 2(more than Imp1)but one of my all time favourites has to be Colonization.A proud member of the "Apolyton Story Writers Guild".There are many great stories at the Civ 3 stories forum, do yourself a favour and visit the forum. Lose yourself in one of many epic tales and be inspired to write yourself, as I was.

Imperialism for me, just after it was released. I really liked it, probably because it was my first TBS. Later I played Civ2 and didn't liked it, then I've got Birth of Federation and liked it very much, later I've got Civ3 and also liked it very much and my fifth and last TBS up to now was CtP2 which I didn't liked. Now I am thinking about getting SMAC.

Civ 1 then Panzer General'Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be - or to be indistinguishable from - self-righteous sixteen year olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.'
