again that's not really a PC TBS, I don't know why people choose to ignore that word but if they want to come off as not being able to read that's their problem

After M.U.L.E. would be Empire, which really got me interested in take-over-the-world games.

I did read it, and then I realised that the first PC TBS game I played really was a DOS version of Battle Chess.

                        My first TBS was Civ3.......

                        my second was MOO2,

Those are the only TBS games I've ever played. If I can find either SMAC, or Civ2, I'll give em a go.

My first strategy game was sim city........ many many years ago. BUt that doesnt count

Imperialism for me, just after it was released. I really liked it, probably because it was my first TBS. Later I played Civ2 and didn't liked it, then I've got Birth of Federation and liked it very much, later I've got Civ3 and also liked it very much and my fifth and last TBS up to now was CtP2 which I didn't liked. Now I am thinking about getting SMAC.

Civ1 at a friend's house. The first one I bought was probably Civ2.
