I had a thought like that, but it didn't make sense to me then, what's this about;

The logos used by the different factions (civilizations) in SMAC, such as:
The Human Hive
The UN Peacekeepers
...etc. They are some of the default avatars you can use before you get a custom one.Comment

But this logo is ugly. Both peacekeepers and Hive have better ones... uh, at least the civ itself was a good one.
