There are several On Topic posters in already
I know, I was just doing this so that solver and some others wouldn't whine

If you see the civ III section, you'll see why I'm not going to try this in the civ III section.

I think In the future, I'll just post this in the OT

Well, at least I received some post count increases for this failed experiment

    -
Moonsinger- all the people in the hall contribuited much to apolyton, and are some of the best posters on the site (in terms of how much people remember them and their good works! )

You should keep posting it here, too. This is also because I don't notice the OTF thread often, I just don't visit it that often... post in two forums.

Maybe for the next one, post a thread in each forum as you did this time, but give everyone equal time to vote. Unless the owners have a problem with this.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Damn, H Tower beat me to the punch here. Oh well, that was my idea in the Civ3 thread.

Don't be discouraged by the nay-sayers DarkCloud. Getting more people involved as a 'community' rather than just a place to scream about some game or other can't hurt. Any good spider spreads it's net wide.

But maybe... post a link in the satellite threads to a single main thread in OT. Save you a bunch of cut and pasting and editing of multiple, identical, large posts.

/Edit. BTW, who actually listens to Solver?

That gets you my vote. Plus, ummm, Marquis de Sodaq and the Scouses.

Sorry, it was an afterthought this time. I'll let everyone have equal time next time.

But maybe... post a link in the satellite threads to a single main thread in OT. Save you a bunch of cut and pasting and editing of multiple, identical, large posts.
I'll consider that. But I think I may have to post the whole voting information each time merely to encourage voting... (because who wants to visit another thread to respond to the one they opened?)
You should keep posting it here, too. This is also because I don't notice the OTF thread often, I just don't visit it that often... post in two forums.
I don't know about here. most of the posters here post OT as well. and that generates a lot of spam in this thread. But I might post in Civ III CTP and AC sections in the near future.

As for notyoueither's suggestion, I think I'll provide corsslinks but the updates have to be done manually
                        sigh. More work
                        But a good idea anyway

                        Thankk you all

Hmm, why has everyone ganged up on me now?

DarkCloud - I honestly think two posts are enough... basically it would be a violation of the site rules if you posted it in OTF, here, Civ 3, AC, CtP... I'd say stick with OTF and here.

Technically... it was a violation of site rules for him to post in the Civ III and Community Forum after posting in the OTF.

But again... spam is always a matter of intent, so I saw no problem with it... Did you

Don't worry DC... you can always post them in Forums I moderate... I won't be a spoil sport like "some" people
                            Keep on Civin'

                              Ming, I just can't resist you .

2 forums is OK... I see some things are generally suggesting to be posted in two forums... but posting everywhere... though, it gives the on-topicers an advantage, and I'm all for it, as you know .
