    A good idea or not?

(I was quite surprised when I first saw them )

I like the Forum Search option.
However the others seem slightly useless since I don't plan using apolyon as an internet search engine.

the search the web one might be useful if a) it opened a new window, and b) it was on the reply page as well, so you could search for relevant info while posting.

Two of your options are the same.

IW, it does open in a new window... What I'm wondering is, why is the site search by Google, and the web search by some obscure and obviously inferior other search engine?

Wouldn't it be neater if there was only one search thing, but with a drop-down box from which you can choose apolyton/web/forums?

And the search thingies squash the "show printable version" et al. together on the left side of the screen.

Apart from that, I use the Google-bar, so the site and web search are pretty pointless additons for me. The forum search can also be found among the options at the top of the page.

But still, it's a good idea!

            Good idea.

And I too dilike the squashing of the text on the left.

By the way- when did Mark add the hitbox ad at the bottom of the page? And why is it so small... sort of destroys the purpose

3rd Question- Does anyone use the "email this thread to a friend" feature?

These look pretty similar to me... Unless logic works differently for you, around here "A and B" is the same as "B and A"

                    it was previously hidden
it's purpose is not to be an ad though
it's counter that the "counter-company" uses to also display an ad, and i dont like the idea of showing 120x120 ads for $0

I don't really like the bigger fonts indicating where you are.

The search functions may be handy, but I don't think I'll be using them much.

To be honest, Ctrl-N works fine for me, and to search from there.

Where's the "I didn't notice this feature until this poll" choice? Seriously, I just did not notice it until this poll.

Like the changes that you have made Markos. Thanks for allowing Mozilla browser to enter the chat or was that just because I upgraded to RC3... Either way great work as always.
