oh, and why would someone want a DL? can't you just be yourself?

People use DL's to post inflammatory material, to post stuff that is against the rules, unpopular opinions, or similar, without their main login getting the blame.

Because3 I can see Custom Avatars.

About DL's, the only confusing thing was people refering to "DL's",
although I do know what alternate logins are. (I've used them on other forums for my multiple personalties)
