Another great interview guys - superb.

I appreciated your honesty in sharing a bit of your life with us Ming and Chris led you through the questions like a pro. A career change beckons!

Btw your proposal story was very romantic. I just rang up Mrs Horse at work one day and said, "so, you want to get married or not?"
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

      If it worked

I hope more interviews are done in this style. I feel it works better than the "dry" respond to a list of questions I send you style of the earlier pieces.

On Mingapulco, my memory is hazy but I think Stefu or Giant Squid coined the name, possibly Brain, someone like that anyway.

The Streak continues! (But sadly, not for Rah )

How many years now, Ming? and is Rah's seat available??

There is good music out there, you just can't find it on the radio. You old git.

Don't let your daughter take a day off school to go to a baseball game! What a terrible lesson to teach her!!!
                      TAKE ME INSTEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, seriously, have a great time. At least attending with your daughter means you should be sober enough to get home safely and party Friday night!

Sadly, my Spin Magazine tix fell through this year, and yours are sooooo much better!

                      Go Cubbies!

There was also good music in the seventies and early eighties - but Ming obviously wasn't listening to it.

As much as I am sorry to break the streak, (damn, over 20 years)
I'll be thinking of you freezing your butt off tomorrow while I'm sipping a drink in between shots on the golf course.

Just read the interview, I liked it a lot.

Once I was also wrongly accused of a double login. Evidence of Ming's trigger happiness?

Here it is. My girl friend at the time lurked a lot at Apolyton, but never created a login. As a civ beginner she didn't know much about the game and was intimidated to post in the on topic forums.

One day she was at my office browsing the off topic forum, and somebody started a thread about pigs. In it somebody posted that all pigs should be killed or something like that. Now, we used to call each other sweet hearts' names including the word pig so, being familiar with the topic , she saw a golden opportunity to break her silence and created a login.

IIRC it was PigglyWiggly, Piglet or something like that (an ICQ name she had used when we played MP with each other). She posted something like "No! Don't kill the piggies!". Immediately, someone noticed that the login only had one post, saw the connection between the topic and the name and concluded it was created only for this particular thread (true enough) by someone already having a login (nope!). Since she had posted from my office her login and mine had the same IP number...

The next day when I tried to post at Apolyton it didn't work. I browsed the off topic and found myself being accused of creating a DL. I freaked out, what a disgrace (although Ming told me most people in the OT would think better of me )! I explained everything in an intense e-mail correspondence with Ming and MarkG and sorted things out. Honour restored!

Sten Sture and Bird brought tears to my eyes when they defended me and never believed the accusation. Thanks guys!

people getting around the swear word filter and flaunting it?

who the hell would do something so stupid?
