    1) I've continually said that I would be quite happy to pay per post I make.

    2) And since 119 set a precedent, I'm awaiting adverts asking for funds for Nigerian victims.

well thank you very much, but that doesnt change the fact that by just viewing the ads you are not making any kind of income for us.

I don't agree to that. But I see that it would stop all posters complaining about that they have payed too mush for a game.

Let's say 2 cents per post. Bods: You average 4.51 posts per day. That's 0.0902 dollars per day or a staggering $32.90 a year. Are you sure you're prepared to pay that kind of money for a little Apolyfun

Ah, but don't forget that that average of posts don't count OT posts! And if we would pay for 'poly, I'm sure that the price for posting OT would double or triple, in order to get Apolyton rid of those pesky spammers!

I enjoy my time here at apolyton and I miss it when it is down.
I don't think Mark or Dan ever want it down but it happens to be out of there control.

                  Ah, yes, pass the buck...

Always someone else's server, someone else's mistake that caused the site to disappear. The fact is that Apolyton is providing a service that sometimes can only best be described as shoddy.

Gee... I remember your site. You have some nerve complaining about any site.

Talk about lack of updates, almost no content, and something that didn't last long... You are probably an expert on bad sites based on the experiences from your own site

                          That was me.

Actually, I try to avert my eyes from the ads.

I found the thread I was looking for! DanQ is right, they never hid the fact that Apolyton is in Greece, they just didn't say it out loud. Locutus had to trace it himself.

Now I remember that I was unable to get online for a day or two... Must have been it.

Well, if you're ever interested in the current location of 'Poly, all it takes to find out is a 'tracert apolyton.net'; that can hardly be called withholding information...
