  • Regarding my offer for Civ3 moderatorship.

Well was it ever seriously considered or was I just 'laughed out of court' so to speak? I was serious with the offer and have had experience with moderation before as well. It would have also been nice to be declined in a more direct way, rather than actually managing to read that Ming had been appointed the Ming in the corner of the Civ3 news somewhere...

Did you want to be appointed Ming then? I thought that job was taken.

Doh! That should read 'Ming had been appointed the mod', not 'Ming had been appointed the Ming'. Simple typo...

If it's any comfort, Provost, you actually were a very strong contender and very nearly got the job.

I had to increase my bribe substantially before they agreed to give it to somebody else.

No worries, it is strange because usually the acquisition of a new moderator for a section (although not exactly a new moderator is usually a bit more suddenly announced that that. Besides I was interested in making a thread on the matter, now that the game is out, things do seem to be getting hectic over there!
