I see a problem that any old corporate git could register and spam everyone on the site. So I think it should be possible to do, but with some sort of sensible restriction, eg, minimum post count restriction. Although I doubt it could be implemented. It is the possibility of spam that causes the problem, so just keep the current status quo...Speaking of Erith:
