phoenixcager first appeared on Apolyton in the Off-Topic and Apolyton/Community forums and quickly became liked by many posters.
He has posted most everywhere on the Apolyton site, but his posts are lost because they are so well spread throught the forum.

phoenixcager recently stopped posting as much as he used to because he went on a vacation and then there were later complications.

Well that, and the problems I have with vBulletin.

He is also present on CivWorld and many other forums run by old Apolytoners.

On the Civilization Gaming Network (CGN) he was the most active poster, posting many useful threads and keeping CGN alive, he was eventually gifted with moderator ship of several forums at CGN, until it disappeared.

Not much of a story there.... Just got bored with my old one andI happened to find a reaally OLD school photo of me, so for fun I uploaded that one....

The now ACS News Director, Snapcase had an illustrous history before his new task. In fact he tried to hack the Apolyton system and succeeded, changing his name from The Call of Snapcase to "Like a Perserved Snapcase on Stage" when he had 2757 posts and then had his posting ability disabled becasue that name was too long for him to use.

LOL, he just did a namechange, nothing more complicated than that, but his name was too long and his login was screwed...he hasn't posted with this login since because it is inactive. But he is an honorary Emperor. Nay, not even honorary!

He is currently in College in England, but lived in Australia for much of his life.

Australia?! He came to Uni in York from Sweden. He also lived in Tanzania for some time (IIRC) and is partially of Hungarian descent.

Quite honestly I have never read the "Bolo" books, I cannot even remember how I stumbled upon this handle.
I am most definitly a Canadian, I hail from the fine city of Calgary in the even finer province of Alberta, the closest thing to God's Country this side of heaven.
I have been described by some as the Canadian Texan, that explains my political beliefs far better than I could or would want to.
Blacktide was a joint creation of YYYH and mine back in May 1999, we were going to make an anti-semite but decided to make him a Frog hater because it would be much less controversial, besides Joe was around so that niche was filled. During July 1999 Blacktide was banned many times for swearing and cursing his head off when they permabanned YYYH and Spink. Later when YYYH was gone I decided to start making up fake histories about how the Frogs would surrender to anything that could breath.
I stopped posting in Apolyton sometime near the end of 1999 as I was quite involved in Thirdwar and found there were far too many newbies around for my comfort. I occasionally posted for Reismark's football pool but for all intensive purposes I stopped posting here. Now I mostly lurk a few minutes a day and if i see a thread I like I read it, but I rarely post.
I can be found at the Frontier these days, with YYYH, Coug, Comrade Dan, Evil Capitalist, Mao, Polaris, Fjorxc, Ghen, and a bunch of other vets who left after Stories went the way of the dinosaur here at Apolyton.

Second, I use him for testing. When I need to put in a string for testing page/app/script/whatever, I put something like Markos Giannopoulos is a big fat greek face owning Apolyton .
