    Call me pedantic but...

    ...if you look at the new thread window where you enter all the information, where the post a poll option is, it says next to the box to select a number of options: 'Number of options initally' not 'number of options initially'.

    Do I get a prize for astute observation as well?

      PH, really, there are more interesting ways to fill in your days than checking spelling errors on the internet.
