On 800x600, IE5, threads are about twice as wide as my screen. It requires constant horizontal scrolling to read a thread. Ugh!
If it makes any difference, I came in via www.apolyton.net, clicked to Civlization II and then Forums.

Yes, works fine now!
Edit: but here's a new one. After posting my reply and automatically going back to the thread, my reply wasn't there. I hit the refresh button and it appeared. This also happened with my first post on this thread. I'm on a shared (20 ways) 128k (allegedly) connection.

Unable to edit or reply to posts in the civ II strategy forum.
Above is for pre-upgrade posts! I just tried replying to one of the new posts, and that worked fine.

BTW, I get the same error message when trying to view the latest Civ3 screenshots.

This didn't happen yesterday (at home) but it is today (at work), both machines are running IE 5.5.
When I am on the forum main page the little yellow light bulb is lit for most forums, and they won't unlight no matter how many times I hit refresh. When I go into a forum the folder icons are pink indicating unread messages and these can't be updated either.
Trying to fix the problem I hit the "delete all cookies" link on the preferences page, unfortunately, this did not help.
