suggestion #1: dont use the drop down menu or generally any of the links on threads without new posts since the upgrade. in general, dont follow any urls like "http://apolyton.net/cgi-bin/something"
suggestion #2: make a bookmark of http://test.gamestats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi (or http://test.gamestats.com/forums/ ) and enter or the forums from thereComment

OK, the error is this.
I've opened the OT forum page, went to the 3rd page. There I found the interesting thread posted by Echtelion - "Middle Finger Thread
".
I went in, no problem so far.
When I pushed the "Post a reply" button, it sent me to this page: http://apolyton.net/404.shtml.
The page where it says:

Congratulations, you've found the error page!
Dont worry, we're doing some cool things! In the meantime, go play civ for a few hours and check back to see if this thing works again....

I am still showing Chieftain..even though I am a Prince..but other than that..site is working great!

I still think this is greatest site on Net..(Just ask my folder...itsss pretty much regimented to knowing the procedure..Log in Go to Apolyton..stay hours on end..)

yea, umm all the links on the apolyton front page are broke. Except for the Spanish and Gameleague links. They took me, too of all places, a FIFA soccer link!

The subhosted sites problem (i.e. redireting to FIFA affiliate site) should now be resolved thanks to GameStats tech. The CGI-scripts/SSI call problems are still being investigated and should hopefully be corrected by this time tomorrow.
Steve5304: when you say none of the "links" on the Apolyton front page are working, you mean even links to our specific sections (e.g. CivII)? They should all be now -- no other report of this nature had been filed nor had I experienced such a problem during this process. Please try again.
We thank you for your cotinued patience on this and assisting us in finding problem spots. No server move ever goes as plan no matter how prepared one is. We feel that we were as prepared as we could be and, as a result, lingering problems are minor and are quickly being addressed.
