I won't call my absence in that thread not being brave. Rather, my superego was stronger than my id by a very narrow margin.

I must ask a simply (and possibly stupid) question, which may have been asked before:

Why did Ming not close the 150 thread if he did not want people to post in it?

Simple... It's a pain in the butt to close the thread, open it up again to bump it to keep it near the top, then close it again.

I sure as heck don't get paid for doing this, so I was making it easier on myself.

I mistakenly thought people would understand and respect what I had written. I was just providing a service for those that never bother to read anything at this site except the OTF.
In that, I was really wrong... That I will admit.

But again, it wouldn't have gotten out of hand if SOMEONE decided to use it as an excuse to try to earn himself "the villiage idiot" title... I never saw that coming.

But, people still have to take responsibility for their actions too. When you break a rule, except the punishment and don't whine about it.

The good news is, all those who thought they were supporting a real "freedom" cause, haven't whined at all. It's the ones who were in on the revolution that are still whining... typical.

Maybe you should give MattHiggs a custom title: "Settler".
That way, regardless of his post count, he would always be a Settler. This seems to me to be the most appropriate treatment of such profound idiocy.

Well, as I stated on the other page, He ICQ'ed me wondering if he had earned the "The Village Idiot" title yet. He claimed he "led" the revolution, and spent hours getting people to post. Again, it's too bad that many of the people that posted thought they were supporting the cause of freedom, and all that had happened was one big con job by MattHiggs in his relentless search for a silly title.

But, nah... settler is too good for him, and all his other log ons.

a funny thing about the "revolution" was that even i could have stopped it, after i posted, i sent a ICQ message to djug so that he would post, first he said no, but eventually he agreed.
After djug posted he got many other ppl to post there too(i got few too ).
Then it REALLY started.

Of course I first triple checked if Mark or Ming didn't put somewhere in gray on gray text "Everyone that replies to this thread using the word 'look' in the first line will have to pay us 10 cookies" then I double checked the FAQ for any new rules, I checked (only once since I got bored) if there weren't other threads somewhere I should post my replies to this post in. (I mean, sometimes you're really an idiot if you put a reply to a topic in the same thread ! How stupid have I been)

And last but not least did I check if they didn't sneaky reduce my postcount, and heck, they did ! I used to be 1400 something, but now I'm back to below 1000.
