I find the title "inmate" rather amusing for people contributing to the site.

Especially for certain posters, it most certainly is *quite* amusing.

That said, wouldn't another term be better (as amusing as "inmate" is)?

as for inmate, we believed lifer was utterly cool for lifetime supporters and inmate matched

I wasn't sure if I'd use it but since I was guinea pig I'll carry the flag for a little while at least. I quite like it now, and inmate is ok. I don't like the supporter one because the box is too long and it looks clumsy. Citizen might work.

I might change to inmate, but with exams coming up, and my usagen hopefully decreasing slightly as such, I think/hope supporter is more apt
