Hehe I've been playing with it, and the switching works fine. I think you've been playing with it also because the look keeps changing slightly. The inmate one is now perfect size, but needs to move to the left a little. The reason yours looks ok is the badge doesn't overhang the avatar. Also your custom title is in a different place. It would work fine if you changed my title to Grand Deity and Lord Guinea Pig.

actually, i prefer the big one! would be nice if we could have custom ones. it's possible with php (GD-library, iirc). just limit the length to 10 characters
