Well - I'm in for the princely sum of GBP 0.56 - no problems with that - but - on the main forum page there is a right hand side bar advert for Ladbrooks.
Cheers Mark & Dan - I shall be taking out the life subscription.

There is a small google ad for Civ (acceptable to me) on the Civ2 Succession Games News page and two ads one the google ad again on the Moderate pending news page.

It works perfectly. I won't fear opening links anymore. Hooray!"I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident

euro payments will wait until we do some changes in our paypal profile
still, my personal paypal page says that for my test payment i was charged 0.85 euro, not 1$. as i understand(reading the paypal help pages as well), paypal changes the user's currency(and probably charges us a few cents on the dollar) before charging the user.
so, Tamerlin, i believe your bank wont even know $ was involved, and i ask you to go ahead and try out the purchase as it is. if your bank charges you an extra euro for your 1$ payment, i'll match it with an extra month (and 2.15% of a month)Co-Founder, Apolyton Civilization Site

it's a cookie issue, but you can change to Default-Ultra Special-CtP2 which doesnt have the footer ad anywayI changed my style to Default-CtP2, and there's a banner at the bottom of the page.Co-Founder, Apolyton Civilization Site

So far my experiences have been good. Default Ultra Special style. Redirects don't have the inbetween ads, larger avatar size works fine (haven't tested byte limit yet, its on the to-do list somwhere), no banners or popups. Hooray!I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

No problem, I am ready to test Apolyton PLUS even if I have to use Uncle Sam's virtual money.
I am waiting for the mysterious link...
Remember I would like to pay for Rasbelin, it would be great if I could do it at the same time."Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others that have been tried." Sir Winston Churchill

On ordinary default, the banner at the bottom remains, but it disappeared after I switched to default ultra special."I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident
