Mark, you should be a kind of philosopher! .

So, now with that in mind.. I would like a civ related title...

How about "worker" for mods or admins .

And citizens for the suscribers. They could be scientists, taxmen or enternainers depending on... post count?. Type of subcription? (thinking on future)

Fortune and Glory, here I come!!!.

I think that "Citizen" would be fine

Tbh Mark a Civgroup icon like DC's star does seem the best suggestion to me. It's noticeable but unobtrusive, which is the goal here right?

I'd avoid the cutesy civ-crap. I think it's likely that the majority of cash-paying members could easily be deemed as 'institutionalizable' so 'inmate' seems to fit. As for anyone paying a 'lifetime' membership, I'd think 'idiot with more money than sense' would be appropriate.

Inmate and lifer only if you change admin to "warden".

(But frankly, I find the badges rather ugly anyway)

The badges would be more nice if they had a steel colouring or such.

My vote is 'Citizen' for subscribers.
                          And 'Hero' for lifetimers.
