I find that whatever you search for here, you get exactly the same threads, e.g. I did a search for fghfgfhgfh in the Off-Topic and got 45 results. Doh.

I use Opera 7.23 and have the same problem. Only "resource" results.

I just did a search for "Super Clads" and got 134 PAGES of results. None of the first ten threads I looked at had anything to do with the topic!!

              I am using NS7.1.

                  It's "maintenance", not "maintainance".

And the search function seems to work fine with Netscape 7.something.

You don't have some hack installed that already tells you what browser I'm using? Wow. I'm on Avant 9.01 build 105, which is essentially IE.

seems like ns7.1 is evil too. the specific search worked on my mozilla

Stranger yet as both use the same engine.

after Gramphos joining the debugging process, the problem seems to be fixed (at least on my IE)

part of our "hot stuff" code(displayed in the front page and main forum page) messed up with the variables of the search form. we didnt find why the error was browser specific (except that mozilla rules) but at least it seems to work
