I'm not even sure if it's an ISP problem. It might be some crazy router along the way.
Two days ago, I suddenly had access again (without a proxy). Now it's gone back to closed doors again.Greatest moments in cat:

Well my ISP defaults to dynamic if you don't choose static explicitly when you sign up. There's no price difference though. That way they can say they offer them at same price, and people who aren't clued up will just take the default.Originally posted by Skanky Burns

My router is a bit flaky..........when I get my port redirection settings exactly right I don't want to change my external IP.

I have broad band. But my IP is static I think... Anyway, I'll try the advise alva got. If it doesn't work, my ISP will get an angry custumer after the Easter holidays...
