I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Cool, so the new version is the default one now?
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

And my folder is still empty even if there should be a file. Marcos I got the suspicion that I lost the ownership of my file. Can you confirm that the database assumes that I don't have a file stored in the new upload service, Marcos?

yes, with my various changes in the names of the files, whatever you might have uploaded may not show up now. try uploading again

if you can upload but cant see the file, then there is some cookie error...

When creating a post the IMG button puts a set of [ IMG ] and [ / IMG ] tags around the url. This no longer works to display an image in the post. If the method you show using the "img src" tag is the new way then the IMG button needs to be changed to do it that way.

I suspect that all uploads goes on the same folder and the number in front of each file is to distinguish each user's uploads.
Kind lame if you ask me but if it can't be otherwise I can live with it.

I wonder if 4780 means that I am the 4780 member that registered in Apolyton...

Yes, your member ID is 4780 (hover your mouse over your profile link).

Obviously this is the problem with my file it does not have such an ID. But actual I don't like this ID in front of my files. If I give a file a name then this is the name of that file and nothing else. Would it be possible to that when the file is downloaded that this ID is removed automaticly or is this an Anti-Apolyton-Upload-Service-Abuse feature, Markos?

Unfortunatly I still have the problem that I don't have files there even if there should now be two files of me:

I guess both should contain my ID, but there is no ID.
A consequence is that obviously unlimited space on Apolyton is granted to me. I doubt that is in the sencse of the inventor.

Well looks like that there is more trouble (beside of the fact that my post above didn't bump this thread) as I tested downloading my file I got:
