If you wanne gamble, go craps, that gives you the best overall odds.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
And the perceived complexity of the game keeps a lot of the noobs away from the table. And it can become a true team gamble, where everyone could be cheering a particular roll. IMO, that's what makes it really fun. There is nothing like a hot crap table. But i guess we should get this back on topic before we're accused of spamming.

Just in case you have over looked it, there are no professional craps players. This tells you it is a losing bet. There are lots of pro blackjack and poker players.
It is correct that you want to get correct odds to get the edge reduced.

Sorry it won't let me delete this post and mods please do it for me, thanks.
I've met many professional craps players while in Vegas. Just because you're ignorant of them is no excuse to crap on Craps.
Craps offer you the best odds in Vegas. (unless you're playing poker without the house taking it's share of every pot)

You have met many people that are delusional. There are no known professional crap players. Spending lots of time playing craps is not the same thing. Filing tax returns listing that as your occupationion and showing a positive cash flow for at least a year would make you a pro.
Go to the gambler book club and check around for any names of pro crap players. What you find are people trying to make a living by trelling you how to beat craps. They are not beating the club, they are conmen.
Actually the timing was.
Ferret adventures.
Using ferrets as civ tribe in MP
Changed location to Lord of the Ferrets.
You mean Dolph & Vito's Excellent Adventures?
I'm pretty sure some of us were calling you lord of the ferrets or something similar before then.
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Rah is correct of course.
craps does have the best odds. I have tried to learn, but I still can never remember all the bets. The best way to learn is to have someone teach you while an actual game is going on. Just reading the rules doesn't help much.
Some casinos do offer training on games on certain days- usually sundays. I seen this at a local casino (sunset station) once. I have never attended though.
