  • Well, HTML and JavaScript can't do this, it's gotta be ActiveX. That's why people who don't use MSIE have no problems with it.

    For those who use MSIE - try turning off ActiveX or at least set warning.

    • Yeah, Gator always comes via the ActiveX applet. That can also be seen in the screenshot someone posted here, in which it asks to be executed.

      I almost never use MSIE as it's so prone to spyware and other malicious activity. Most rants here would have been solved by using a different browser.

                    I know. I actually have mozilla on my pc. As an installable .exe. I just never got around to installing it
