Let me say it again... I don't personally give a damn about a majority of the posters here... The ones I've met in person, and the ones I've played MP games with for a long time, I consider as friends... but I ban and PCR those as well.

There is not a single person that I dislike... I have no reason to dislike anybody. People are way too paranoid if they really think they are being picked on because "we might not like them" or because we don't agree with them... If I banned people I didn't agree with, about 2/3 of the people here wouldn't be posting anymore.

I'm concerned with the rules being followed. As I stated above, some people are treated differently than others... but it's based on their past history of following the rules... now about who they are personally or what they believe in.

If you want to continue to think that you are being treated unfairly because of your beliefs... that's your problem... not mine.

I can see this is a very sensative issue for our Lord Minginess. Therefore I will drop it

Yeah I think a reasonable attempt at consistency is made.

I think Tass's point is, can you really put your hand on your heart and say you wouldn't give a buddy a leetle more leeway if he started misbehaving?

I disagree... I'm not the one that ever brings it up... It's always somebody else who brings it up So they are the sensitive and paranoid ones... I'm only answering questions that are being asked... And I continue to give the same answer...

As many of my buddies here know... I would answer no.

While I WILL be a tad politer in the PM warnings that I send... I do send the warnings. As as some have found out... being a buddy doesn't stop me from restricting and PCRing you.

I even send warnings to rah... and he takes them very seriously

Wow, wouldn't that cause brotherly friction? Plus I thought mods, by definition, couldn't spam.

I send warnings for more things than spamming

And remember, he hasn't been a mod for all that long.

Now that he is a mod... any actions against him would be considered a private staff matter

How come that the yin26 affair wasn't that private then?

I wasn't involved in that one... To the best of my memory, I thought yin was the one that was vocal on the subject

Yes, IIRC (it was just before I registered, but I did read a few threads in that time) he posted something from a PM about him being a troll, and than Markos responded by taking his moderatorship.

Oh... I remember it... very well... I was there

But yin was the one that made it a public matter...

Ming, my point was that everyone is human. Despite anyones best efforts, a bias is always made at least in the subconscious mind which will influence decisions. It's human to make biases towards people you like, even if you are trying to remain neutral.
But while you do a good job of keeping it in check, there are times when you slip up. But thats ok, cause it's only human

And Yin? What are we speaking of?

I've dipped a bit into psychology. Just one of my findings Although it is pretty common sense .
