Actually, they brought six versions, from pre-alpha to release. They did their GDC presentation on iterative programming design

yeah soren and dorian's presentation showed civ4 in various stages of development

i must apologize for the quality of a large number of the photos. if i had brought a better camera and did more tests of it's output before the event we would have better results. hopefully dan has video-recorded everything so we can perhaps take some shots from that as well

very good! there were a lot of questions from the participants!

i was semi-dead at 01:00am and had to leave so i dont know how long the final session lasted. at that time there was a 5-6 players civ4 mp game going on while soren and the rest of the guys were playing some inappropriate card game

Also, Sid Meier responding to the other room cheering (motivational speaking or something?) was funny -- kind of missed because everyone was between talking. (For those who missed it, after the other room clapped, and cheered, Sid bopped his head twice, pumped his fist and said, "YEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!")
